Adzif Wall Graphics Information

Adzif wall graphics are easily installed on most smooth surfaces - from painted walls to glass or metal.  Textured surfaces, such as brick, stucco or stone, and high gloss surfaces should be avoided as your graphic will not adhere well.

For best adherence ensure your surface is clean, dry and dust free.  The temperature during installation should be no less than 18°C (64.4°C). You may also apply them to bathroom walls provided the heat of the room does not exceed 35°C (95°F).  Adzif wall graphics are not designed for use outdoors.

Sorry, but your graphic is not re-positionable and cannot be re-used. During removal it will undoubtedly stretch and/or tear.

Adzif vinyl wall graphics will not normally damage your walls during removal provided you have affixed them to an appropriate surface as recommended.  If you choose to ignore recommended surfaces for placement you may have some paint peeling/chipping or other damage occur to the wall during removal.  We can say with great certainty that applying them to painted wallpaper will most assuredly cause the paint AND the wallpaper beneath it to lift from the wall when you remove the graphic.  Considering most of our 'house' is covered in painted wallpaper we really had no other choice in surfaces to display them.  We are happy, though, to be able to share this with you!

In order to best enjoy your experience in affixing your new wall art we suggest the following...

DO...

- Read the directions enclosed.  They are there for a reason.

-Always rub the solid backing along the entire graphic (not necessarily the entire *sheet*) before removing the backing.  This activates the glue which makes for easy adherence.

- Work in small sections.

- Use a flat edged, but not sharp, tool to apply them.  We use an ATM or credit card!

- Peel the clear/top layer from the graphic close to the wall at a slow and steady pace.

- Watch for lifting.  The super-fine and thin edges on some graphics will want to lift away with the top layer no matter how well you followed the directions.  Watch those fine bits and simply press them back down on the wall with your finger before you proceed peeling the top layer away.

- Should you decide to remove your wall graphic we suggest using a thin flat object to make fussy work move along faster.  Be slow and steady with your tool of choice, keeping it flat against the wall between the graphic and the wall surface.  Working too quickly or positioning the tool at too much of an angle may result in nicks and gouges to your wall and we know you want to avoid that.  You may also simply pick an edge and begin peeling with nothing more complicated than your fingertips!

- Expect a bit of residue on the wall after removal.  This will come off easily with warm soapy water and a wee bit of elbow grease.

DON'T...

- Toss the instructions without reading them.  They are there for a reason.

- Adhere them to a questionable surface as noted in the instructions.

- Work too quickly.  Art cannot be hurried.  Hurrying art can result in torn, stretched or wadded pieces of vinyl.  Not pretty.

- Use overly sharp objects to assist you with your installation or removal.  During installation you could easily damage your graphic, your wall or yourself if you choose a sharp instrument.  During removal you could easily damage your wall or yourself, and you will damage your graphic - sorry, can't be avoided! - by using a keen edged tool.

- Use pointy, spiked, thorny, spiny, barbed or apical tools to install or remove your wall graphic ( We *love* the thesaurus!).

Oh, and we forgot one DO...

- Enjoy your room transforming, lifestyle enhancing, oh so chic Adzif wall graphic!
