We generally only ship to the billing address of the account. 

Please note that there are a few items in the store that will not follow the simple shipping rules. Those items will be noted in the item detailed listing as having additional shipping charges. These will generally be items that are too large for normal shipping or that require special packing and handling. As well, due to the large variety of items that we stock, certain combinations of items may not qualify for shipping at the above rates to remote locations. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers.

If you are located in Lower 48 USA, we can arrange shipping but will only do so based on a quote. Please give us a call or send an email. Shipping to the USA from Canada varies so much it is impossible to just base it on a flat rate.  Duties, tariffs, taxes etc. if any, are the responsibility of the buyer. The US dollar conversion shown is for convenience only - all transactions take place in Canadian funds.

We primarily use Canada Post for shipping.

Whenever possible we try to recycle packaging materials such as cardboard etc.

 

Sale Merchandise

All Sale/Reduced price products are considered a final sale.  These items do not qualify for return under normal return policies.  Should a sale item be damaged during shipping we will gladly work with you to ensure the item is replaced.  Please inspect your parcel upon receipt.  If goods arrive damaged we require you keep the packaging and goods, as you received them, in order to file a claim with the carrier, and that you contact us immediately.  If we are unable to replace a damaged item because of depleted stock we will refund your purchase price and shipping costs.  We typically do not plan on restocking items we offer at reduced prices and, therefore, cannot guarantee we will have replacement items available.

 


WEB-STORE RETURNS

Chichihome makes every attempt to provide accurate, up-to-date product information so you're armed with all the right info to make a smart purchase. But we understand that you may simply change your mind and want to return an item.

Purchases can be returned for a full refund, less all of our actual shipping costs, within 7 days from delivery date as long as product is in its original condition and returned to us with the original packing, inserts, tags etc. Returns are not accepted on jewellery, skin-care products, wearables/apparel and special orders.

In the case where items are returned, but are not in original and "as new" condition we reserve the right to charge a restocking & handling fee of 20-50% depending on the condition of the returned items. We are not liable for the shipping charges on return. Please notify us prior to returning any item.

Special Order items are considered final sale and cannot be cancelled, returned or refunded unless damaged upon receipt. 

Vintage Items are sold As Is. If you have questions about a vintage item we invite you to contact us and ask before ordering.

You should inspect the packaging and items immediately upon delivery and indicate on the packaging if there is visible damage. Please contact us immediately if your order arrives damaged. We will work with you to ensure your item(s) are repaired or replaced in a timely manner at no extra cost to you.

Please note: should you refuse a shipment, you are responsible for both return and original shipping costs in addition to a 15% restocking fee.

PRESALES

Because we have our items for sale in our physical store there is the possibility that an item shown for sale will no longer be available when your online order is processed. We update our inventory status but in the case of one of a kinds or low inventory items it is possible to not be able to fulfill your online order. We will contact you and make every effort to try and fill your order. On most items we have display stock and if agreeable to you that may be made available to you.

Minimum Orders

Due to the high costs of handling, packaging and shipping - web orders valued less than $20.00 will generally be declined (and a refund issued for funds actually transferred) if an order is inadvertently placed.


Privacy

ChiChihome.com does not collect personal information from you (your name, addresses, e.g.) when you visit our website. If you choose to provide this information to us, it is only used to fulfill your request for information or to receive communication from us. Communication can include: electronic newsletters, offline mailings, notification of new product arrivals, promotions,  and customer service calls regarding orders you have placed.  Should you wish to not receive communication from us, kindly let us know and we will remove your information from our system.

If you place an order on our website, we will collect your first and last name, home or other address, telephone number, email address and billing information. If you do not provide such information, we will be unable to complete your purchase. We use this information to complete, support and analyze your purchases. This information may also be used for internal purposes and to comply with any requirements of law. This information may be disclosed to our staff and to third parties involved in the completion of your transaction (e.g. credit card provider) and the delivery of your order (e.g. shipping carrier). We take your privacy seriously. We only share your personal information when it is necessary to complete your order  or to fulfill a legal requirement if we have belief that such action is necessary.


Our website uses cookies to keep track of what you have in your shopping cart and to remember you when you return to our store. Cookies are very tiny files that are stored on your computer when you visit certain web pages that record your preferences. They cannot harm your computer and they do not contain any personal or private information. Your web browser must accept cookies to make a purchase or use the wishlist.


We have chosen to use the services of Paypal as our credit card processing company. We believe them to be industry leaders and ultra safe for our customers. The credit card information that you provide while making a purchase is sent directly to Paypal and we do not see or keep any information about your credit card. When you are entering your credit card information you will see the secure Paypal symbol in your browser ( where depends on the browser and version). Paypal provides us with an authorization only and no information about your credit card whatsoever.



Shipping to places other than Canada or Mainland USA


Depending on country, delivery times, size and weight of package, postal shipping rates can be reasonable or totally unacceptable. As an example: Shipping a parcel to Europe that weighs less than 2 kg. and is smaller than 30cm x 30 cm X 30 cm can be done for less than $25.00 Canadian. That will take 4 - 6 weeks. If weight or size go up from there, rates will at least double. We do not try to profit by shipping, but the transaction must make sense. Not likely that anyone wants to spend $60.00 to ship a $40.00 item.
