Vanda orchids are an important family of orchids because they contain some of the most magnificent flowers among all the orchid varieties.  The particular Vanda modeled in these vases is the endangered species called “javierae” and it is not only one of the world’s most rarest Vanda orchids, it is also the only white Vanda orchid in the world.
